Designed by Philippe Ledoux in 1974, it draws from a historic engraving once kept at the Château de Malmaison. At the heart of the composition is the ceremonial phaeton of Napoleon’s son — a golden carriage so precious it was once pulled not by horses, but by two merino sheep trained by Franconi’s circus.
Framed by deep cobalt blue and softened with tones of pale grey and gold, the design feels both majestic and dreamlike. Inspired by ancient myths and imperial grandeur, each detail echoes the story of Phaethon, the son of Helios, who dared to guide the chariot of the sun. “Springs” is more than an accessory.
