Designed by Hugo Grygkar and first introduced in 1953, the scarf "La Réale – Vue du Carrosse de la Galère" draws inspiration from a model ship exhibited at the Musée National de la Marine in Paris. This model, crafted between 1830 and 1837, represents one of the last and most magnificent galleys of Louis XIV's naval fleet, known for its remarkable speed of eight kilometers per hour. Notable for its size and adorned with splendid decorative motifs celebrating the Sun King and France, La Réale features golden figures of Apollo, Neptune, and numerous mermen.
