SAPHIR MINK OIL

Saphir Médaille d'Or Mink Oil is a rich, revitalizing cream-butter designed to deeply nourish and moisturize very dry leather, restoring its natural moisture and shine. It conditions without leaving an oily residue and significantly reduces dryness and cracking. For best results, apply Mink Oil regularly — light, frequent applications are more effective than heavy, infrequent ones. Always ensure the leather is clean before application to prevent dirt from bonding with the oil and penetrating deeper.

IMPORTANT: One of the main drawbacks of mink oil is its tendency to darken leather. It may not be suitable for light-colored leathers, as it can cause noticeable color changes.

While mink oil is versatile, it’s not appropriate for all leather types. We advise against using it on thin, delicate leathers, and it should never be applied to suede or nubuck. For these materials, we recommend using Nappa cream instead.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Ensure all dust and dirt are removed from the leather surface.
2. Apply the mink oil using small circular motions with a cloth or applicator.
3. Allow the oil to penetrate for at least an hour.
4. Afterward, use a polishing brush to remove any excess and bring out the leather’s shine.

PRECAUTIONS: Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area before wider application.
